Job Description: In lieu of upcoming contracts we are interviewing candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer. The company has been conceptualizing its innovation since 2006 and was established in 2010. The opportunity is full-time with benefits for the position engaging in research and development. The candidate selected has potential for promotion into project lead and engineering management positions. Relocation is not offered. Salary is comparable to the geographical region and market. This position is located in Louisville, Kentucky. 3-5 years experience in the following ·Power Generation Equipment ·Digital prototyping (solid modeling, FEA linear and non-linear, CFD) ·Heat transfer ·Experience at major diesel engine manufacturer, appliance manufacturer or power generation equipment a plus ·Experience with MS Office, Autodesk Inventor/Algor, ANSYS, or Pro Engineer/Mechanica ·ASME pressure vessel code knowledge a plus but not necessary ·R&D experience a plus ·Advanced Finite Elements Analysis training ·Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma preferred ·Minimum education: BSME from ABET accredited or equivalent program ·Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
