| Job Description: | Are You Ready to make a difference in the fight against Cancer? We are excited to announce the expansion of “The Ride to Conquer Cancer” to Louisville! As the Operations Team Lead, you’ll be part of a highly respected organization that raises millions of dollars every year for cancer treatment, prevention, education and outreach services. The work environment is fun, fast-paced, and highly rewarding. If you are passionate about this cause and the work you do, this is the position for you. The funds raised through this event are used locally in the ongoing quest to conquer cancer in our lifetime. Purpose of Position: We are looking for a dynamic individual who will lead the operations team which is essential in ensuring the success of The Ride to Conquer Cancer. The Operations team is responsible for registering the participants for the event and their fundraising goals are met and exceeded. You will also serve as Event Staff during each event. Operations Team Lead Your main role is to motivate your team on a daily basis and create a positive work environment. You will need to be able to coach your team on conducting the most effective phone calls possible and ensure the team is achieving all goals. The ideal candidate will have successfully led a team of telephone representations in the past. Your team will also conduct outreach and orientations, process manual donation issues, and establishing new relationships with companies in the area. Responsibilities will also include payroll, assigning work-loads, scheduling and assisting the Manager as needed.
